Reports of the Postmaster General were issued from 1896-1969/70, when he was replaced by the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, which reported from 1970/71 until 1979/80. The Post Office Savings Bank, initially a Federal Body, issued reports from 1954 until 1979/80. The reports on Customs and Excise are bulky, detailed documents from 1906-31; before and after these dates they are brief and cursory. They were issued by the Federal Government from 1954-1962/63.
