The Law Department became the Department of Justice in 1933. The Justice reports also include Internal Affairs (1954-1961), Law and Order (1962), and Housing (1954-1956). The reports of the Registrar of Deeds, Companies and Patents; the Master, Registrar and Sheriff of the High Court; and the Solicitor General would be encompassed within the reports of the Law Department from 1907-1932. Publication of the Justice Reports and the Law and Order Reports ceased from 1972, as the guerrilla war was intensifying. Other reports include those upon Policing (1897-1980) and defence; defence was the responsibility of the Southern Rhodesia Volunteers prior to 1914 and are classified as Defence thereafter.
